Hamiota Municipality has received approval for the Hamiota Truck Route Network Rehabilitation Project under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. Information about the program can be found here.
Under the program, the funding will be split between the Federal government ($2,467,121*), the Provincial government ($1,370,486) and the Municipality ($274,262). The project aims to renew approximately 108 km of roadway, upgrading the weight and volume capacity within the municipal truck route network.
