There are several locations to host your event in Hamiota.
Hamiota Community Centre
Hamiota Community Centre is situated at 50 – 4th Street and is available for rental to the general public. The capacity of the centre is 240 people for sit down lunches or dinners and 288 people for socials. It has a small stage and its own sound system. The rental includes all plates, cutlery etc.
The facility is available for various functions, either on a one time basis or regular usage, such as: Hamiota Lions Club Meetings, Senior Group Card Parties, Floor Shuffle and Carpet Bowling. Annual events include Ducks Unlimited Banquet & Auction, Arts Club Tea & Show, Quilt Till You Wilt Group Show, Kids Club Mall in the Hall. Other uses are birthday parties, anniversary parties, reunions, funeral lunches, pre-wedding socials, weddings and receptions, as well as meetings.
The facility underwent a major overhaul in 2005 with the changeover to geo-thermal heat, the addition of storage facilities and general redecorating and in 2020/21 the kitchen was redone with a commercial kitchen and a new bar face. The Centre is equipped with chairs for 288 people and tables and kitchen dishes for 240 people.

Heritage Arts Centre
The Heritage Arts Centre facility itself is available for rent – wedding/baby showers, Christmas parties, retirement/birthday celebrations, as well as a pleasant environment for meetings and workshops at reasonable rates. The centre has exhibition gallery space, workshop space, office and retail space. WiFi access, projector, and sound system equipment are available as well.
