Swimming lesson registration for 2025 will be open April 1 at 12:00 pm. Dates for lessons have been updated below!
The Hamiota Aquatic Centre offers instructional lessons from the Life Saving Society. For anyone interested in learning how to swim, the LSS Program is an excellent way to promote skill development, physical fitness, water safety and fun! We offer the choice of one regular two-week session in June or the one-week intensive sessions in July and August. During intensive weeks lessons typically run twice a day between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Swimming Lesson Fees:
- Preschool parented once a day (Parent & Tot 1 – 3) – $33
- Preschool – $62
- Swim Kids 1-5 – $62
- Swim Kids 6-10 – $73.25
Those registered in lessons will be contacted one week in advance to verify lesson times. Kindly contact the Hamiota Aquatic Centre at 764-3057 to confirm times if we have been unable to reach you. Your cooperation is appreciated.
About our Instructors…
The Hamiota Aquatic Centre hires only qualified staff to instruct all levels of the Lifesaving Society Program. Each season staff continue to maintain their skills by re-certifying various qualifications to ensure they are able to serve the public to the best of their ability.
