Creative play is important to the physical and mental grow of all children. Our community provides access to quality outdoor play equipment at three locations:<\/span><\/p>\n

Lions Club Community Playground<\/span><\/h4>\n

Hamiota Lions are committed to providing regular maintenance and have a regular program for upgrading or replacing equipment at their playground located within the Hamiota Municipal Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

Green Space Attractions<\/span><\/h3>\n

Millenum Park<\/span><\/h4>\n

\"\"Hamiota Millennium Committee adopted this project as the community “Legacy for the Future”. Transforming an unsightly empty parcel of land located in the centre of the community along Highway 21 provides the community with an enhanced image for residents and travellers alike. This former brown field site now features a central raised floral bed, water feature, memorial rose bed, winding walking path, variety of trees and shrubs and shade arbour. Benches and a picnic table beckon for park visitors to rest and enjoy the park.<\/span><\/p>\n
